Writing is More Me Than Speaking

I think so many times in life we think the grass is greener. That doesn't always mean the place that you live or work. It could mean the people you associate with. The hobbies that you decide to engage in. The type of vacations that you decide to take. So many different things in that category. The trick in life sometimes is to try new things, in order to keep it interesting, but don't make it a habit. Because if it becomes a habit, it's an indication of something else going on. Each individual has to figure that out for themselves.

So in April I started a podcast after spending 6 years posting about 10 or 20 times a day on Twitter and a short period of writing blog posts here. And I think writing is my thing. I think more clearly. Because when I don't I put it down. The podcast on the other hand, I just keep barreling through it. So I reached a point of deciding which way to go. And I think what I'm going to do is go back to writing. And post a podcast maybe once a week or on special occasions in order to keep my skills up there. I love the podcast. I just like doing it. But when I sit back objectively and look at my enjoyment coupled with what it is accomplishing or not and I think I'm better suited to just pull back a little bit from it.

What's going to happen is you'll probably get the same or a little bit more activity when it comes to posts from me. But most of it is going to be written. And a little hint is subscriptions that you apply to like Twitter or blog posts or substack or podcasts you should have a completely separate email for those. One that's not hooked up to your phone or your computer to get messages. And then you be proactive to go in and check it and it's not going to come out and grab you. That way you're free to subscribe to a thousand different blogs if you want. Anyway that's what I do.

Well since it's the weekend I'm not going to come up with this big barn storm of a topic. I'm just going to leave this out here for y'all to comment about or whatever. Hope you all have a great weekend.
